Nawar N. Al-Kazemi is a Visual Designer، a Design Critic, and the founder of Square One Creative Lab, 2017. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Design Criticism from The School of Visual Arts, Manhattan, NY. Her recent work focuses on multidisciplinary collaborations, specifically with non-designers, where she is interested in exploring the merge of fields in identifying and addressing problems, resulting in a varied creation of design solutions and items. Together with the team, Nawar is very grateful to be working with like-minded creatives who share her passion, enthusiasm and values.

Interior Designer
Originally from Italy, Interior Designer and Critical Investigator Caterina Francisca holds an MFA in Design Criticism from the School of Visual Arts, NYC, and a BFA in Interior Design from the Istituto Europeo di Design, Italy. Caterina's New York based practice focuses on creating coherent and conscious designs that enhance people’s experiences and lives. Throughout her career, her work explores the intersection between human sciences and the perception of self. Caterina is inherently curious and is always eager to engage with projects that involve ethical and critical conversations. She finds a unique chance to broaden her multi-cultural and design expertise through working with Square One Creative Lab.

Rita Azar, a Visual Designer, brings brands to life through her passion for storytelling. With a background at Leo Burnett, where she worked on international Proctor & Gamble brands, Rita enhanced her skills in corporate design, specifically within different markets. She remains dedicated to expanding her creative talents, as she chooses projects that inspire her throughout her creative journey. At Square One Creative Lab, Rita finds her natural fit, as she enjoys working on diverse projects which continue to bring new challenges.

Badria Al Reshaid
Copywriter
Badria Al Reshaid is a translator and editor. She has an MA in Translation Studies from Kuwait University and has worked with a wide range of private and government institutions such as KFAS, National Fund, World Bank, and many others. She also offers translation and editing services for individuals for business or personal purposes. Badria discovered her passion for translation at a young age when she read translated literature classics from her home library, and had always been curious about the translation journey and its decision-making. Badria is very interested in the multidisciplinary aspect of working with Square One Creative Lab and enjoys the collaboration process.
